London was incredibly thorough and helpful and made me feel noticed and appreciated. He noticed small things I had resigned myself to and quickly found a way to help. Thoughtful and generally great! Made the process not just as quick and painless as possible but also even pleasant. Shout out to London!

Had an appointment schedule with jake who is my case manager. I was 10 minutes late because im homeless and take the bus, but he decided lunch was more important. Let me mention that ive called and left several messages since November, but he hasnt returned any. One of these calls was to update my contact info so I could receive mail and calls. I wasted a bus trip on this and these people don't care. Hope your lunch was good. Please get back to me when im important enough. Id really like to get my disability processed. Thanks.

The first visit took over 3 hours to complete paperwork. On my second visit, I had to get a replacement card and I was in and out quickly. Staff is very nice although I am sure it can be a difficult job dealing with a large assortment of people. I was glad to see a security person was present. Bathrooms require you be let in by guard.

I’ve now been to this office twice, and both times have been frustrating, but today was on another level. A month ago, I met with a staff member who told me I didn’t qualify for food stamps because I wasn’t working enough hours as a full-time student, and he specifically told me to get a BFET referral from my college so I could qualify. I did exactly that. When I returned for my follow-up appointment, I was assigned to an employee who was extremely rude and clearly annoyed to even be helping me. She gave me attitude from the moment I sat down and acted bothered that she had to look up my paystubs, even though the previous worker had already scanned and filed them. The whole appointment felt rushed and unprofessional. At the end, she didn’t explain anything, didn’t walk me through my eligibility, and didn’t even tell me whether I qualified. She just shoved a packet across the desk and basically dismissed me. I had to read it myself, and that’s how I found out I was only approved for $43. That amount makes absolutely no sense. I don’t work enough hours, I’m well below the income limit, I’m a full-time student supporting myself, paying car payments, and struggling to afford grocerie

0 Stars – Rude, Biased, and Discriminatory I waited 3 hours only to be met with rudeness, judgment, and harmful stereotypes. The interviewer had clearly made up her mind before even listening to my case. I brought all the paperwork I was told to bring, but she dismissed it, saying it wasn’t enough and that she wasn’t a bookkeeper to go through it. She repeatedly questioned my situation—as if being Asian-American and Canadian automatically makes me wealthy. She made me feel like a criminal for having dual nationalities. If I were rich, I wouldn’t have come to the U.S. seeking a better life. I came for help during a financial struggle and was treated with disrespect and bias from the start. Completely unacceptable experience. I will definitely be filing a formal complaint about this.
